Can you clean my roof if I already have solar panels?

Yes. We clean around solar panels carefully and can clean the panels in the same visit. The tiles directly under the panels can’t be fully reached without removing them, but we treat and rinse as far underneath as is safe, which stops growth spreading out from under the panels.
What’s involved
- We work carefully around panels, frames, rails and cabling.
- Edges and the gaps under panels are treated and rinsed as far as can be safely reached.
- Panels can be cleaned with soft brushes and purified water so they’re streak-free.
Solar hot water
Let us know if you have a solar hot water system or solar pool heating on the roof so we can plan around it, and tell us if it has been leaking.
Why clean the panels too?
Dust, pollen and bird droppings cut the amount of sunlight reaching the cells. Cleaning them while we’re already on the roof saves a second visit. See solar panel cleaning.
