Can cracked tiles and capping be fixed when my roof is cleaned?

Cleaning is the best time to find them. We inspect the roof before and during the clean and point out cracked tiles, slipped tiles and tired capping. Tell us when you request a quote if you’d like small repairs looked at, and we’ll let you know what we can take care of on the day.
Why cleaning reveals problems
Moss and lichen hide cracks and failing mortar. Once the roof is clean, problems are much easier to see.
What we look for
- Cracked or broken tiles.
- Tiles that have slipped out of line.
- Cracked or crumbling capping mortar and pointing.
- Signs of a leak, such as staining or gaps around flashings.
Spare tiles
If you have spare tiles, let us know. Matching older or imported tiles can be difficult, so spares make replacement much easier.
